[ GENERAL INFORMATION ] 

          Weapon: 
Lucky – Designed to be as "non-violent" as possible, Lucky is a quarterstaff meant to avoid drawing blood unless times are desperate. The ends of the staff can have blades attached if necessary, but she doesn't like the idea of this. The staff is tension-held together by chains and can bifurcate not unlike <a wytiwyg="1" href="www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLvgOh…"Kyuko's, stretching out 18' (5.49m) when fully extended. Lucky is solid metal and weighs approximately 50lbs (22.7kg).

Secondary Weapon: A simple recurve bow, with self-generated arrows.

[ PERSONALITY ]

Kit is generally a pleasant and perky woman with a powerful optimistic streak and a distinct love of others. She sees the best in everyone (even if you are notoriously shitty) and will look past negative traits to try and bring out the person she knows you are...this is not always a good thing in her experience and has lead her straight in to trouble more than once. You could say she has absolutely terrible taste in men, and you wouldn't be wrong. Kit has a very carefully monitored hair trigger temper and has worked long and hard to temper it down, knowing full-well it won't get you anywhere good - and witnessing the mess that are Wrath falls has only strengthened her resolve. However as a result of this she is stubborn as a mule and can be very difficult to argue with. Not only that, but if she's positive that she is right about something her heels will ding in to the Earth's core. She's definitely prone to "If I know I am right, and I tell you to do something, go fuck yourself and do it don't fucking argue with me about it, I'm not tolerating this shit. " Though generally if she gets this way, she has a very strong reason to.

Kit can get a little petty if she feels wronged and might bring up "the old shit" because of this, but if you give her room and a breather to reorient herself she will be fine. The closer she is to you, the more and more she will gently bully you - and sometimes she has trouble telling if this will actually bother you or not. She only means well with those whom she does this to however and will promptly apologise and cease the behaviour if you tell her it is hurtful. As an audacious and courageous woman, she almost borders on stupid in how she handles situations, and this has gotten her hurt more than once; you could say she's a bit of an adrenaline junkie, and it isn't hard to believe that these go hand in hand. Hilariously, this sort of behaviour is not what caused her anxious and neurotic behaviour, instead Kit is anxious over more benign seeming things, such as how others are, or how the future will go. She has a tendency to assume the worst of a situation (even if she tries to be optimistic) and has some...paranoid behaviour. Though over the years this has been steadily improving.

She is generally "a good girl", having been raised in a very Catholic household. She tries to stand to virtuous tenets, but she is not perfect and slips like the rest of us. She is very fussy about the quality of her work and too the quality of others work, especially if it has to do with your work ethic in the shop. She will teach you happily and patiently, but she expects your best out of you. Purgatory was her life's work and she doesn't want to risk it.
Ultimately though, Kit lives by the tenets of the Catholic Church and will give everything she has and then some for you, she is selfless to a point where it will actually cause her harm and she will not say a negative word for it. She doesn't even have to like you to show these behaviours. Compounding this is the fact that she is extremely maternal and loving, happily and willingly taking others under her wing...even if she doesn't realize she's doing this (and sometimes it can certainly get overbearing).

[ BIOGRAPHY ] 

Kit has always been a driven woman, and these traits showed even when young. Raised by a teen mom and a man only recently enlisted in the air force, she'd been given a lot of structure. Her mother had only recently moved to Daten with her family from Saint John, New Brunswick, before her mother Pendant and Flak Jacket had made a real mess of their situation a year later. She was raised with her parents for a handful of years and loves them both dearly, regardless of them breaking up when she was four. Her father moved up to Seattle, and she stayed in Daten with a mother who worked her ass off. Her other relatives had been city hopping with their work, but Pendant chose to stay in the city where work was stable. This had lead to them having to move to a low income neighbourhood early on in Kit's life, and Kit is not only weirded out by having a large home (as she had spent most of her life in a tiny single bedroom apartment) but in having a large amount of possessions.

Pendant was a massive role model for her daughter and taught her an enormous amount, dramatically shaping the girl's perceptions of the world and how to behave. For a girl who had her first child at 16, Pendant did pretty fucking good with Kit, and Kit is endlessly grateful. Kit never liked her stepmother Gloves, however, and will without hesitation call her The Devil without even batting her eye - a heavy statement out of Kit. She is, however, very partial to her baby brother Pantchains, who came from that whole mess. Kit visited her father with decreasing regularity as she grew up, and he also came by less and less. She suspected this was due to Gloves' influence rather than his choice, though she is still bitter about it.

Kit was never the shining star honour student of the school, but she was always good at science, and she did enjoy those courses. She was a bit of a troublemaker at school and would pick fights with people whom she felt deserved it, and this assisted in her befriending Rosary eons ago, on the other hand, a pleasant boy who had recently moved to Daten at the time was an excellent neutralizer for her bullshit. She cherishes them to this day. However, during her high school years she had also gotten involved in Daten's dirty underground world (which wasn't hard, as she lived in a low-income neighbourhood), using money she earned through drug sales and gang work to help support her mother and pay rent, as her mother had recently gotten accepted to Medical School and they were having trouble making ends meet. Kit learned a massive amount about vehicles in these years and operated as a spectacular getaway driver...though over time, confessionals simply weren't doing it anymore. She needed to get out - and not just from the gang, but an extremely abusive relationship which had come with it.

Working less and less with Dragon's Tongue, Kit began one full time and two part time jobs while in school, eventually dropping out in 11th year and "vanishing" off the face of the Earth after dying her hair the shade of green found now only as streaks in her hair.
In her late teens she had befriended someone who saved her from what would have been an effective suicide attempt and who later went on to host a cooking show with her and later build Purgatory, the starting point and patisserie of the restaurant she now runs when not on base. In these same years she had completed her GED and begun working with the Angels in the city and had met her now-husband Forage, who was a complete pain in her ass, but had also become a dear friend despite how much of a playboy piece of trash he was. She'd developed feelings for him and eventually they wound up a couple (on his part mostly to humour her before she eventually grew on him in that context [much to his horror and chagrin]). The two had begun bonding more strongly after the entirety of Kit's immediate family died in the same year for a variety of reasons (cancer, in combat, and suicide) and especially so after a stint where he had outright vanished without a word for a month. Since then they have seen a lot of phases in their relationship, many of them unsure, rocky, and frightening, but all the more binding for it. The Captain eventually popped the question not long after Kit had landed on Earth again as an Angel post-death and four years after they met. Adjusting to married life has been an interesting spectacle for them, but so far they've been handling it like champs and with unparalleled respect for their spouse (even if they seem to pick on each other a lot); these two also seem to have an extremely strong sense of trust in the other - they can most strongly attribute this to the events of their honeymoon in 2018, but neither will go in to explanation of that adventure, saying some things are better left unsaid. What happened on Rook Island is privy to only a small group of people, but both will without fail pass along a warning to be careful when travelling if they hear that you are.

Having died at 24, Kit often forgets shes an angel, as she slipped very quickly back into many of her human habits. She had passed on while volunteering in Pakistan at a school which openly educated females in the area, which was targeted by extremist groups around the end of her deployment, culminating in her managing to save the lives of her students (and the lives of some others) while sadly meeting her own grisly end. This event is the reason she wears something which always covers her neck, as she is very self conscious of the scar.

Kit has been working strongly with her husband to properly rebuild the base to what it is now, and acts as a mother to everyone on base, part out of instinct and part out of necessity. Her ability to schedule for large groups and keep tabs on her restaurant and bakery are skills which have come in handy for the maintenance of the base and those who live, work, and visit here. She keeps diligent tabs on those who come and go, what's needed, where people are, how they're doing, and more. While it isn't her dream job (since she isn't in her restaurant or bakery as often as she would like to be (re: always), she does enjoy working in close proximity to those she loves dearly and those whom she wishes to help. She dedicated so much time to this years ago - Forage having been one of her biggest dedications at the time - and she hasn't lost her drive yet.

[ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ]

• _{Has dedicated years to entirely rebuilding a 1964 Jaguar E-Type and maintaining a 2002 Nissan GTR Skyline, which she has added basic ballistic defensive modifications, the natural additions of Nitro and turbo, some fairly extreme overhaul of the suspension system (allowing for some fairly dramatic allowances of jumps and forcing the vehicle to roll), tore out the interior for safer racer seats, a roll cage, and other safety related modifications. Her vehicle is built for speed and defense, but has the offensive addition of blades in the wheel wells which are built in with a hydraulic system to slash the tires of or at the very least damage the opposing vehicle. If there is anyone you should trust to get you out of a tight spot or upgrade your car in a not-so-street-legal-but-sure-is-handy way, she's a great point of reference.
